How a Carpark Light assessment works
A two-step form, a human reply from info@carparklight.com, and no committee login. A preferred date is not a booked visit. Estimate only — not a quotation.
Updated
A Carpark Light assessment is a two-step form and a human reply from info@carparklight.com. The JMB or MC does not get a login. Sending the form is not a quotation, and a preferred visit date is not a booked appointment.
What happens on the first step?
The first page asks whether the building has seen the usual three: pressure on the electricity bill, extra lamp buying and patrols, and dark pockets from grouping or timers. You continue. You do not send contact details yet.
The two RM figures on that page are an illustration of same-usage bill pressure. They are not a named customer and not your building unless the numbers happen to match. They are not a savings claim.
What happens on the second step?
The second page asks for a preference: invest in smart parking light, outsource the lights, or not sure yet. It also asks building type, carpark context, a bill or bay count if you have it, name, role, email, WhatsApp if you use it, and a preferred site-visit date.
“Could” on that page is the word we mean. Nothing there is a promise. If you only have a bay count, send it. We will not invent a monthly RM line from bay count alone. What to gather first is what a JMB should bring to an assessment.
What happens after you send it?
A person reads the enquiry. We reply from info@carparklight.com, in one to two business days when we can. There is no WhatsApp button and no calendar widget on the public pages. There is no shopfront street address.
The form does not auto-quote and it does not start a bulk email. If you already wrote because of an outreach note, the form is still the right next step. It tells us the building is interested. It does not log anyone into our system.
Who can send it?
A committee member, a property manager, or building finance. The building needs a name and a person we can answer. Roles are in who should send the assessment.
What the form will not do on its own
It will not calculate a saving from bay count. It will not email a quotation when you press send. It will not put the building on a public list of customers. It will not treat the illustrative RM pair on the first page as your bill. If a colleague expects any of those, correct it before they read the reply as something we did not send.
The reply, when it comes, can ask for a clearer figure or a walk through the deck. That question is part of the assessment. It is not a delay to avoid. A number given before the deck is seen would be the thing this site tells committees not to accept from anyone else.
What the reply is allowed to mean
Any percentage in the reply has to stay inside the public bands: about 20% for a typical condo, about 15% for an office, about 5% for a mall, each on lighting-related electricity only. Industrial is on request after we see the site. Those bands are explained in condo carpark electricity for JMB / MC. A site survey is required before a number is a proposal. What the survey is for, and how Option A differs from Option B, is on the solution page. We work in the Klang Valley — Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
