Who should send the JMB assessment
A JMB or MC member, a property manager, or building finance can send the form. There is no committee login and no booked visit in the Klang Valley.
Updated
A JMB or MC committee member, a property manager, or someone in building finance can send a Carpark Light assessment. There is no committee login. The form does not reserve a site visit, and it does not make the sender a customer.
Does the property manager have to be the sender?
No. Managers often hold the bill and the bay count, so they are a practical sender. A committee member who has the same facts can send the form instead. Building finance can send it when the question on the table is the common-area account. What matters is a building name and a person we can reply to.
If more than one person writes about the same building, say so in the note. We would rather connect two messages than treat them as two unrelated jobs.
What does sending it not do?
- It does not open an account for the JMB or MC.
- It does not book a date. A preferred visit date is a preference only. There is no calendar on the public site.
- It does not start a WhatsApp thread. There is no WhatsApp button. Put a number in the form only if you already use WhatsApp.
- It does not produce a quotation. Bands stay estimate only until a site survey.
The steps after you press send are in how a Carpark Light assessment works.
What should that person have in hand?
Building name, role, email, and either a recent lighting or common-area figure or a bay count. The list is what a JMB should bring to an assessment. We reply from info@carparklight.com. We work in the Klang Valley, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. This site does not list a shopfront street address.
What should the sender not promise colleagues?
Do not tell the committee the form has booked a survey, cut the bill, or started a contract. Tell them a person will reply from info@carparklight.com, that the public bands are lighting-related estimates, and that a visit happens only if we agree one after that reply. Colleagues who wanted a calendar invite need to hear that before they chase a date.
Do not forward the form as if it were a tender. It does not ask contractors to price against each other. It asks for a building, a contact, and a figure or a bay count. Pricing, if it comes, comes after a survey, and it is still not VGPA and not a guaranteed monthly return.
Who is the note for, if a meeting comes later?
The sender does not have to be the person who tables an AGM paper. They do have to avoid turning the public band into a whole-bill promise. The condo band, which is the one committees mis-copy most often, is condo carpark electricity for JMB / MC: up to about 20% of lighting-related electricity, estimate only, not a quotation.
What this page does not say
- The form does not make the sender a customer and does not reserve a survey slot.
- There is no WhatsApp button and no calendar on the public site.
- We do not publish a shopfront street address.
Questions committees ask
- Does the property manager have to be the one who writes?
- No. A committee member, a property manager, or someone in building finance can send the assessment. Name the building and a person we can reply to.
- Does the JMB get a login?
- No. The public site is a video, short notes, and a form. A person reads what you send. Nobody signs into a committee account.
- Is a preferred visit date a booking?
- No. A date on the form is a preference only. We reply from info@carparklight.com. There is no calendar widget on the public pages.
